The lock functionality locks
selected features so only the current user may modify them. These features are
not editable by anyone else until they are posted back to the version or
unlocked manually. From the Spatial Tools section on the Home tab click on the
Lock icon:
The Lock Features dialog box
opens.
Check Refresh Features to
refresh changes made to features.
Select
All to lock every feature queried in the active
work session,
View to lock only the actual view,
Fence to lock features inside a fence or
Selection to lock only selected features.
Left click the map to
confirm or right click to cancel the lock.
